Important Features of the Scheme

The Nine-watt Bulb will be dispersed to the *Ama Ghar LED Scheme beneficiaries, who are registered under the State Food Security Scheme (SFSC) and National Food Security Act (NFSA).

It is the responsibility of the OPTCL to implement the ambitious scheme and a 9-watt LED bulb will be dispensed through desired camps and designated PDS outlets across the state of Odisha.

Biometric Authentication (probably the use of the Aadhar card mechanism) will be employed for validation of beneficiaries to avail of the benefits of the scheme.
